Was here today for lunch the cajun chicken burger and fries was 10/10 the waitress was really nice and friendly and the other staff was nice to it was busy but we got a booth area nice n snug definitely be back here again definitely recommended
Stopped off for a few drinks. Ended up having lunch, sitting in a window seat for a nosey/read a book. Staff are all lovely and welcoming. Had a lovely goats cheese salad, hubby had club sandwich. Great presentation and tasty food. Definitely worth a visit
Number 44 was great. We ate dinner & breakfast at the restaurant and both meals were great. The room was small but very clean. Front desk person was very friendly. Highly recommend Number 44
Just went to the bar for some food and drinks and were definitely surprised! Delicious food, a vast variety of beer, cider and whisky and absolutely kind service! Go there, sit in and relax!
Location is excellent and so is the service. The rooms are small but clean. The main challenge is with the restaurants: while the food tastes great, you'll wait for an hour average to get served, even for small menus like breakfast. Food doesn't always look like the pictures from two years ago either. For example, see the Wellington as it's being served today and compare it with the old pictures (not a full Wellington but rather a slice of it, and if they overcook it they'll serve it anyways). Same goes for the pork belly and scallions: no longer as shown, it is now bacon.
Stopped here for lunch yesterday because it was cold and raining. They were very busy but we managed to get a table. Food was lovely, (we selected from the pensioners menu) friendly service, we couldn't fault it. Thank you.
A perfect little hotel right on the beachfront. The room was small but cozy, with fantastic views of the beach and the entire bay — absolutely breathtaking. Service was flawless, both at reception and during breakfast in the restaurant. The breakfast had a good variety of options and everything was fresh and delicious. A lovely, relaxing place to stay by the sea!
We had lunch at 44 and it was delicious! The haddock was the tastiest I’ve had and great quality, and even a pensioners portion was substantial. Great service and reasonably priced.Always appreciate using toilets that are well maintained and exceptionally clean! Thankyou!
